In the third quarter of 2024, the top navigation and maps applications on the Android platform in South America showcased varied performance trends, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic maintained a strong presence with weekly downloads peaking at around 283K in late July, before settling to approximately 198K by the end of September. The app enjoyed a consistent user base, with weekly active users averaging around 4.2M throughout the quarter.

Google Earth saw a stable trend in downloads, with a high of about 76K in early September. Active users fluctuated slightly, ending the quarter with approximately 553K weekly active users.

Radar - Speed Camera Detector experienced a notable spike in downloads in mid-July, reaching over 60K, and maintained a relatively steady number of active users around 42K by the end of September. Revenue for the app was minimal, with a peak of $407 in early July.
